the HUNTED INTERIOR: Gold Leaf Terracotta Pots ~ Warm weather is approaching quickly, and landscaping and planting is on a lot of people’s minds! Do you have a ton of terra-cotta pots in a variety of sizes and newness? If so, you may want to make them more unison by adding gold and silver leaves to them.
Here’s how you do it:
1. Purchase gold and/or silver leaf found at your craft store. All the leasing items are in the same section at craft stores and are easy to find.
2. Purchase Size (which is the glue that adheres to the metallic leaf) at the craft store.
3. Purchase spray sealer for metallic leaf at the craft store – again all of these items are grouped together.
4. Follow the instructions on the leasing package and apply to your terra-cotta pots.
It is important to note that most metallic leaf manufacturers will say that it takes roughly 45 min. for it to become tacky – this is not true when you are applying it to terra-cotta pots. The pots will almost instantly absorb the size (the glue) making it a little bit difficult to apply but not unheard of. If you want to solve this issue all, you have to do is brush the leaf with your glue and immediately apply that to your terra-cotta pot.
